Dates: Thu, Jan. 22 (or Wed, Jan. 21) – Sun, Jan. 25, 2026

This winter semester’s winter sports excursion is a short trip to the Lindenhof in Churwalden / Lenzerheide. Our accommodation, the Lindenhof, is located at the entrance to Churwalden, near the Churwalden/Lenzerheide/Arosa ski area. The ski bus stops near the Lindenhof, and the distance to the nearest lift is approximately 1 km.

Travel to the destination is on your own and is not included in the price. However, we are happy to assist with finding carpooling options.

Since the ski pass is valid starting Thursday morning, you have the option of spending the night from Wednesday to Thursday at a hostel in Chur. Price: approx. 44 francs in an 18-bed dormitory with bunk beds.

Alpine skis, snowboards, boots, and poles can be rented both at the Sports Institute and on-site.

Rental fees and cancellation charges: as per the SITUC fee schedule

The tour price includes ski pass fees, accommodation, and meals

Despite all safety precautions, snow sports are a high-risk activity. Every participant should be aware of these potential dangers.

Participants are covered by their own health insurance during the winter sports excursion and not by the LUK (State Accident Insurance Fund).

We recommend purchasing additional international health insurance to cover any potential costs for medical care on-site. Such insurance can be purchased from almost all insurance companies and the ADAC.
 

We also recommend taking out ski insurance for your ski equipment.

Each participant is personally responsible for theft and damage. Neither the Sports Institute nor TU Clausthal can be held liable for this.
