Sports Engineering - Bachelor of Science

Interview with Julia Burkhardt
... SOMETHING ABOUT TECHNOLOGY
A campaign by think ING.

The six-semester bachelor’s program in Sports Engineering combines engineering disciplines with sports science disciplines. It has an interdisciplinary focus and, during the first four semesters, provides students with a broad foundation in physics, chemistry, mathematics, computer science, materials science and engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and technical mechanics. Design engineering, measurement and control technology, and sports and rehabilitation technology are additional areas of focus, as is an introduction to sports science, biomechanics, and sports equipment and materials and their practical application.
