College Volleyball Championship, Fall 2024–2025
Report on the Half Marathon
The university volleyball championship took place on December 2. A total of 10 teams participated, four more than last year. After a brief warm-up and opening remarks, three action-packed hours of play followed, featuring many different matchups. In addition to numerous impressive plays and despite the strong competitive spirit of all teams, the focus was on fair play and having fun. For example, two teams shared third place because the match was stopped by mutual agreement due to an injury.
Another highlight was the diverse mix of teams, made up of many students, staff members, and even some alumni. Notable among them were a team of RKS students and a mixed team from Osterode. A fantastic
international buffet, which everyone enjoyed to the fullest, rounded out the entire event. All in all, the tournament was a complete success, and there was plenty of positive feedback afterward! In particular, questions about the next tournament were frequently asked.
