Registration via the University Sports registration system: Clausthal Sport Shooting Beginner Course and Dates for Advanced Participants

Sport shooting is a sport that requires both extreme concentration and body control. In cooperation with the Clausthal Shooting Club, we are now offering a course during the winter semester where you can learn sport shooting with an air rifle and an air pistol. Qualified instructors with many years of experience in competitive and recreational sports are available to lead a course consisting of approximately 10 sessions, during which you can learn sport shooting in the Olympic disciplines.

Since space is naturally limited, we can only offer 2 spots for air pistol and 6 spots for air rifle.

Please only sign up if you are seriously interested, as there will be a fixed group for the 10 sessions. If someone realizes after the first session that it isn’t the right fit, they can still be replaced.

Dates: Tuesdays, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

The first session is on October 28, 2025; please sign up for it—spots are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

Course fee:

€20.00 – to be paid directly to the local shooting club.

Michael Peinemann (C-level rifle coach), Rainer Otte (B-level rifle coach), Rudolf Morbitzer (C-level pistol coach)

Are you already a competitive shooter and active in a local club? Then you can train with SG Clausthal. The first session is Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Additional dates will be announced. Registration is through the university sports system.
