"Healthy Universities NORTH" Network
Clausthal University of Technology is now the 28th member. Click here for more information!
Health promotion—at every level—is more important today than ever before. Increasing demands, pressure to perform, and time constraints are taking a toll on our health and personal well-being. We need a new way of thinking and acting in our daily lives. We need new concepts for teaching and learning spaces that allow for more movement. We need a new understanding of the effectiveness of active breaks. We are committed to this area and, together with the Sports Engineering program, are developing solutions for the “Healthy University” environment.
We would like to share this knowledge and are delighted that Clausthal University of Technology is now the 28th official member of the "Healthy Universities NORTH" network. We look forward to the exchange so that, together with all stakeholders in the network, we can develop, further refine, and collaboratively utilize innovations in health-promoting measures within the university setting to strengthen individual and social agency. In the "Healthy University" setting, staff, faculty, and students—as key target groups and multipliers—should be able to access health-promoting offerings tailored to their needs to strengthen their health literacy.
We are convinced that this membership will enable us to strengthen our existing activities and develop new innovative approaches.
